Eligibility Criteria for NEET PG
To appear for the NEET PG (National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate), candidates must meet the following criteria:
Nationality:
Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Foreign Nationals are eligible.
Educational Qualification:
Must have a MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a recognized medical institution in India.
Medical Registration:
Possession of a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC) is mandatory.
Internship Completion:
Completion of a mandatory one-year rotatory internship on or before March 31 of the admission year is required.
Eligibility for Foreign Nationals:
Foreign nationals do not need an SMC/NMC registration for NEET PG but must obtain it before admission to a postgraduate program.
